I'm thinking a haiku is constructed through a reduction process from a "deep structure". For this haiku, I started with this:
A humble existence with something peculiarly skillful is of amusement to me.
There was a talk named Unanswered Questions by Leonard Bernstein, and I learned the process of building a deep structure first and then transforming it into poetry from his talk. I wonder what is your working process of writing poems. It would be wonderful if you could share.
